The frame is all double butted cromoly steel with a lugged steel fork. The cranks are the Sugino Messenger with Messenger chainring and red anodized chainring bolts. Deda provides the Velocita chromed steel sprint handlebars and the MKS pedals with MKS steel toeclips (with leather toe accents) are one of the crowning touches. Toss in a few more red anodized bits like the headset spacers, seat collar and spoke nipples and you have a bike with so much slobber appeal you're gonna want to carry a few towels to wipe it down.
Last, but certainly not least, is the amazing finish- which we affectionately call Nekkid. This finish is really more of an un-finish; the frame tubing is unpainted, but given a chemical bath after welding and then decals and clear coat are applied. This means you see the raw and unpainted steel tubing with all its subtle characteristics, as well as all the bronze brazing material on the frame and fork. But with the clear coat, the finish takes on a very deep luster that compliments the subtle decals.
Don't just take our word for it- take a look for yourself. You will not be disappointed!

I have owned this bike for one month TODAY! I am a daily rider in Chicago and this bike fits all my needs. I am 5'9" and I purchased the 53 cm. My bike shop didn't have it in stock but they did have one in California. It was an anxious 7 day wait but it finally arrived and now I can't stay off the thing. I have ridden several single speeds and a few fixed and this is the best fixed gear bike I have owned yet!!! Plus, later this year I will be taking this bike w/ me to India! I turn so many heads here in Chicago on this bike, I wander what India is gonna think. Keep makin' rad bikes and I'll keep buyin' em!
Dr. Matt- Man, you just made my day! Thanks for the awesome comment and for the support- we sincerely appreciate it.

No need to thank me! You are the guys that made the awesome bike I ride! By the way, I follow your blog (masiguy) pretty regularly. Glad to see your back on the horse and riding hard. Keep up the good work over at Masi and if your ever in Chicago give me a shout. There are a lot of us Masi riders here.
Dr. Matt- you can believe me- I'll make plenty of noise when I get to Chi-Town... and I WILL make it out there one of these days.
Thanks for the support- it's good to be back on the bike and I'm looking forward to getting back on the track and racing again too.
